On June 15, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) issued Decision No. 1578/QD-BCT on the official imposition of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on certain cane sugar products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand (case No. AD13.AS01).
No later than 12 months before the expiration of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures, on March 18, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) officially announced the receipt of sunset review requests for the case.
Within 30 days from the date of this announcement by TRAV, domestic producers have the right to submit a request for a sunset review of the imposition of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures. The request must be submitted directly to TRAV within the application receipt period, no later than April 21, 2025.
